My girlfriend and I were hanging out one day and randomly started craving Ihop pancakes. So what does one do when their girlfriend craves something? They oblige. Upon entering, we were greeted by friendly wait staff and promptly seated. From there, the service was pretty close to perfect. We felt well taken care of and never had to even ask for anything. There was slight disappointment with the food though. The hash browns were not even warm but room temperature. It was as if they weren't cooked or even heated when ordered but were thrown on the plate from a batch made a while ago. The syrup given was in individual single use plastic containers as well and only had the original flavor. Please bring back the syrup rack with all the different flavors!
I'm typically not one to review chains but I just wanted to give a shoutout to the staff at IHOP. It was a busy Sunday morning and both the bussers & waitress we're so nice and attentive! Shoutout to Julia! Also, the food was good!! We ordered a breakfast burrito and pancakes and both were good & hot! The pumpkin cinna-stack couldn't have been less than 1000 calories but WOO it was good. I hadn't been to an IHOP in like 15 years but I'll probably work this one into my low-budget, cheesy-carb breakfast rotation.
